The City of Louisville recently chose Bluegrass Recreation Sales and Installation for a massive park upgrade to William Harrison Park, near historic Churchill downs. The project consisted of removing old, worn out playground equipment, then designing, delivering, and installing a multifunctional playground unit from Little Tikes, complete with safety surfacing.
The new playground design incorporated a mix of play features; a tree climb, a huge slide for up to three children to slide on together, new swings, a merry-go-round, and a variety of climbing and balancing features. The Little Tikes Commercial play structure was paired with NRG climbing nets, balancing pods, and overhead features that our great for strength building.
The new William Harrison Park playground now offers something for everyone. Patrons can get a little exercise, swing, slide, spin, run, climb, play imaginative games, or just hang out with friends. The City of Louisville was very satisfied with the project and has reported an uptick in park usage since install.
